Who are they?
Merz is an independent pharmaceutical company with offices
around the world, including the UK. The company specialises
in research and creating pharmaceutical products that make
a real difference to people's lives, including those who suffer
from Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and depression. In addition,
the company is also a specialist in anti-ageing skin care
treatments and innovative products aimed at dentists and dental
technicians. Merz is considered one of the world's leading
researchers and is highly respected by professionals working
in the health, beauty and wellness arena.
Why they came to Pinch?
Merz Pharma UK approached Pinch because they were looking
for a website which could talk directly to medical professionals
and the public too, whilst still reflecting the fact that
Merz is a worldwide company of research and innovation. The
website and database had to be designed and built within strict
global guidelines and in CSS and XHTML. In addition, Merz
Pharma UK also wanted their website to have special features
for medical professionals and patients searching for someone
in their area.
How did Pinch help?
Once we'd got under the skin of what Merz & Merz Pharma
UK was all about, we designed and built their website that
would help Merz Pharma UK communicate with its new online
features and core products, whilst sitting comfortably alongside
its international colleagues. Pinch were also asked to write
the new content for the website, balancing the need to give
professionals and the public plenty of information, with the
need to get across Merz's values and Merz Pharma UK’s
unique products and status. The company has a reputation for
