Pinch has been recently appointed by Justin Smith Architects, an architect firm in Derby to re-build their website. Blue Nectar Design in Derby, a design consultancy, had been working with JSA on their corporate identity and brand development and had put together on paper a new direction for their existing website.

With this in hand we were asked to build and develop their new design for their website. Pinch were delighted to be given the opportunity to work with other designers and for a client that’s, well, a designer too.

Justin Smith Architects are experienced in both residential and commercial developments and wanted something that was functional and easy to navigate around but visually got across their designs and variety of portfolio to their existing but more importantly new clients.

The site is quick to download and uses JavaScript to provide a refreshing look and feel to the site each time a page is viewed. The page has a simple but effective way of accessing a library of images which can be added too to randomly select a relevant project depending upon which section of the site the viewer is accessing.

Whilst the site is not that rich in content, Justin Smith, Director of JSA decided to build the site as search engine friendly as possible to help with his organic rankings in Yahoo, Google and MSN search engines.
